OUR COMMITMENTS

Quality & Continuous Improvement

Because Journeys is committed to providing high quality services and resources we are working towards PQASSO Quality Assurance Standards.  PQASSO is designed especially for use by voluntary sector organisations and is widely recognised by funders and stakeholders.

Environmental

Journeys is committed to protecting the environment and will implement environmentally friendly policies and practices wherever possible.  Not least because we understand the importance of a healthy environment in regards to promoting and protecting mental health.  Because of this we are currently working towards the Green Dragon environmental management standard.

Ethical

Journeys recognises that our choices can impact on people within Wales and the wider global community.  For this reason, we are committed to making decisions that do not cause suffering and preserve and promote a good quality of life for all wherever possible.

Feedback & Complaints

Journeys welcomes and values feedback from anyone involved with our work.  We believe that that feedback is vital to maintaining and improving our high quality services.

We recognise that on occasion things go wrong.  We will respond to any concerns or complaints promptly, and in a fair and open manner.

Volunteers

Volunteers are a vital part of the day to day functioning and success of Journeys.  Their contribution is highly valued and acknowledged accordingly.

Supporters & Donors

Journeys’ supporters are at the heart of the organisation and we thank them for their continued belief and support.
Journeys receives limited government funding so we spend some of our time raising the funds we need just to be here.  We would rather be directly helping people affected by depression.  Every contribution we receive from a donor allows us to do this and is valued immensely.

Journeys is always conscious of its charitable status and purpose, and uses all its resources prudently.
