Youth Mental Health First Aid (5th & 6th December 2011)

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is a training course that helps people recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems; to engage with people suffering from mental health problems and to support and signpost them to professional help.

It allows individuals to gain awareness and new skills, and helps organisations to improve mental health in the workplace.

The course is for anyone aged working with young people aged 12-21 and for anyone over the age of 16 themselves. 

The feedback for YMHFA has been extremely positive.

Lunch will be provided.  Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a copy of the YMHFA manual.
